HB 6 - Is an optional $10,000 property tax exemption for "fire fighting service and emergency medical services". Sponsored by Davies. Read 1/8 and sent to Community & Regional Affairs and Finance. (This isn't as detailed or the dollar value we were working on but it's a start.)

HB 20 - State aid to municipalities and certain other recipients, public safety funding formula, the VPSO program.

SB 5 Lowering the blood alcohol level to .08

There are a number of bills which will be considered by the 22nd legislature which may be of interest to fire and emergency services personnel. Many of you are familiar with the Bill Action Status and Inquiry System (BASIS) which allows individuals to identify bills which may be of interest and obtain timely information on a bill's status via the internet.
